Rules and Policy
- Is smoking allowed?
All our cabins are non-smoking. A $250.00 fumigation fee will be charged to your credit card for violations of this policy.back to top
- Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed in the Pine Grove cabin with an
additional fee but NO PETS of any kind are allowed in the other cabins. A $100.00 fee will be charged plus any other cleaning/damages that incurred.
We charge $30 for 1 pet an additional $10 for 2 pets. Only 2 pets allowed. This charge is for normal cleaning with pet in cabin. You will be charged extra if there is extra cleaning due to pet behavior.
NO extra large breeds, over to 60 pounds. NO aggressive breeds.
Pet must be well trained and well behaved. They must be clean, and free of flees/must have all shots and wormed.
When pet is outside, it needs to be kept on a lead and supervised at all times.
It can not be left in cabin alone.
Pet must be kept quite.
Keep pet out of hot tub and bathtub.
Clean debris and wash off mud outside. There is an outside Faust by hot tub.

- Are visitors allowed?
Only 2 persons per cabin, only during daytime hours. Guests must
inform office before they check-in to clear visitors.back to top
- What are the hot tub policies?
Please abide by all rules posted for hot tubs.
Persons suffering from heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure should not enter a hot tub without medical consultation.
Use by the elderly and infants is not recommended without medical consultation.
Recommended time is hot tubs is 20 minutes for adults and not more than 10 minutes for children over 12 years of age. Long exposures may result in nausea, dizziness, or fainting.
Some people will have a reaction to the chlorine and develop a rash.
Never use a hot tub while under the influence of alcohol, anti-coagulants, antihistamines, vasoconstrictors, vasodilators, stimulants, hypnotics, narcotics, or tranquilizers. Spa heat accelerates the effects of alcohol and drugs and can cause unconsciousness. Leave the tub immediately if you feel uncomfortable or drowsy.
Pregnant women should consult their physicians before use.back to top
- What are the grounds for immediate eviction?
The following are grounds for immediate eviction, prosecution and forfeiture of all monies paid:
- Firearms or other weapons are prohibited on the premises.
- Possession of illegal substances is prohibited.
- All children must be under adult supervision at all times.
- House parties of any kind and underage drinking are prohibited. Should this be the case, local law officials will become involved. You will be charged for any damages and extra cleaning incurred during your stay.

- What do we need to bring?
You need to bring your food, clothing, a beach towel for the hot tub,
and your personal items. We furnish 1 set of towels per person per night, all linens, the kitchen is fully equipped. Your cabin has an adequate supply of toilet paper and trash bags for the length of your stay. If you feel you may need extra you made want to bring some with you.

Your deposit is refunded minus a $25 service fee plus tax if cancelled prior to 14 days of arrival. Non-refundable within 14 days of arrival. 72 hours or less: no refund of deposit or balance charged.

Deposit is refunded minus $100 service fee plus tax if cancelled prior to 30 days of arrival. Non-refundable within 30 days of arrival. 72 hours or less: no refund of deposit or balance charged.

Weekends are considered: Thursday/Friday, Friday/Saturday, Saturday/Sunday. Weekend rates apply for them and will be charged at Friday/Saturday rates.back to top

A three night minimum is required for holidays or holiday weekends.back to top
- When can I check-in?
Check-in time is 4:00PM and our offices close at 5:00PM. If you are late checking in, we will put the key under the mat at the front door of your cabin. Be sure to know the name of your cabin if checking in late.
At check in, look around your cabin and if you see anything damaged or not working properly, report it to the office right away. This will protect you from any charges.
Hot tubs sometimes need to be cleaned before you check-in. They will not be up to full temperature until after 7 or 8 PM. Do not try to increase temperature.
Occasionally appliances, hot tubs, fireplaces, etc. can malfunction. We will service and restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items.
Remember you are in the country. We have someone that comes in on a regular basis to take care of any unwanted "guests" but sometimes they do get in (usually when the weather changes).back to top
- What is the check-out time?
Check-out is at 11:00AM. In order for housekeeping to do their job properly. There are no exceptions. Please bring the key to the office. There is a drop box outside the office door for your convenience.
At check out: Be sure all dishes are washed. If you would rather not do them, for an extra fee, someone will take care of them after you check-out.
Pick up any trash, clean out the refrigerator and place trash in the large can outside.
Be sure you check for any personal items. In the event you do leave something behind, at your request we will send it to you for a $10.00 handling fee and the cost of shipping. We keep any non=perishable items for 60 days.

Supplies
- Are toilet paper and towels provided?
Your cabin is supplied with enough towels, toilet paper, and paper towels for your entire stay. If you feel you will need extra, please bring them with you.
We provide 1 set of towels per person, per day. You will find them in the bathroom vanity. We recommend bringing a beach towel for the hot tub. Our hot tubs are designed for relaxation only.
Extra pillows are provided in the dresser drawers.

- What about kitchen essentials?
Our cabins are furnished with just the basic dishes, utensils and cookware. We put coffee filters and a starter set of coffee, sugar, creamer, and sweetener in your cabin.
There is a gas grill at each cabin. Please do not move grills to any other location.

- Do you furnish firewood?
We do not furnish fire wood. You can purchase it at one of the country stores that are 2 miles in either direction from us.
You are welcome to collect wood from around your cabin. We do ask that you only pick up wood that will fit inside the fire ring. If you drag any trees out into the yard, you will be charged a $20.00 fee for cleanup.
Please do not transport any wood from your home. The National Forestry Department is prohibiting transportation of wood to slow the spread of the Emerald Ash Bores. Should you be caught doing so, the Department is assessing heavy fines/tickets ($454.00 per incident).
